Here's how we're taking steps to keep our earth in good shape.
As an e-commerce business that’s intrinsically more eco-conscious—using less energy and producing fewer carbon emissions—we’ve been thoughtful about our retail expansion from the very beginning. We are proud that 100% of our brick-and-mortar stores are climate neutral.
We’ve substituted plastic polybags for 100% recyclable, better-for-the-earth packaging.
We’re constantly launching eco-conscious styles designed to go easier on the environment —and we will continue to champion sustainability and experiment with additional ways to become more responsible.
As always, we’ll push the boundaries in everything we do to make the greatest impact we can throughout our sustainability journey.
We’re constantly developing brand-new styles made from recycled and upcycled materials —some of which are created in partnership with Repreve®, a brand that transforms recycled plastic bottles into fiber and has kept over 24 billion discarded bottles out of landfills.
Our mission to protect the environment fuels us to keep innovating eco-conscious designs—so we can continue to inspire our VIPs with even more sustainable choices. In our pursuit of a better future, we are actively considering our environmental impact at every stage of a product's lifecycle.
As a digitally native brand first and foremost, our platform is intrinsically more eco-conscious than traditional retail companies. But as we expand our brick-and-mortar presence, we’re committed to being thoughtful from the start about integrating earth-friendly practices into all aspects of the business.
To that end, we’ve partnered with the renowned sustainability experts at South Pole to help us evaluate the energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions at all of our retail locations. By sourcing both renewable energy and carbon offsets, we’re proud to announce that we have achieved net-zero greenhouse gas emissions and 100% of our stores are climate neutral.
We teamed up with recycling company Marimole to make sure none of our scrap and bulk fabrics go to waste. How it works: Our fabrics are separated by material, then shredded. Natural fabrics, like cotton, are re-spun into new fabrications, while synthetics are melted down and used in other products.
With sustainability as one of our cornerstones, we’re committed to a greener future—so stay tuned for even more ways we're becoming earth-friendly!
