Shelleen Kostabi | Flywheel | Fitness Instructor
After a serious injury left her unable to dance, Shelleen Kostabi pursued a career in theatre, but yearned for something to keep her in shape. When she saw an ad for a “test group” for a fitness DVD, she jumped at the opportunity to be involved. She lost 22lbs and 13 inches in 90 days and was the only non-fitness model cast in the very DVD series she was testing for! Today, Shelleen teaches Flybarre at Flywheel in NYC and is a master trainer for REXIST360 Training systems, a revolutionary resistance band with accompanying workouts and online programming. To stay fit, she teaches 12 Flybarre classes a week, trains with REXIST360 3 times a week and takes Pilates reformer and cardio dance classes at the gym. She also keeps a balanced diet, eating clean 80% of the time. Shelleen defines her own FAB by celebrating each person’s right to be authentic, unique, and relentless in their pursuit of happiness.
Shelleen loves traveling, reading, and going to the theatre. She’s a big foodie and loves long dinners with friends. And although her wardrobe consists of mostly fitness gear, she loves fashion and even makes her own t-shirts!
PRE WORKOUT RITUAL:
Coffee, foam rolling, music, and a healthy snack.
Bread and chocolate.
