Sarah Ann Corkum | Group Fitness Instructor | Personal Trainer
Sarah Ann Corkum grew up dancing and performing in musical theatre, but could never bring herself to love the gym. She started working with a physical therapist and exercising after she injured her knee, and a few months later, quit her job on Wall Street to become a personal trainer and group fitness instructor. Making the leap into the fitness industry prompted her to start trying new things like running triathlons, and since her first race, she’s competed in 7 triathlons and 2 half-ironman events. She believes that life is a journey to create a solid balance between fulfilling yourself and fulfilling others.
To stay fit, Sarah Ann teaches spin, group fitness classes, and Pilates. She also loves bootcamp classes and running outdoors. Outside of the wellness sphere, she enjoys traveling, sailing, swimming, and crafting foods to fit her healthy lifestyle.
PRE WORKOUT RITUAL:
I customize my playlists to compliment my workouts. I’ll zen it up for yoga or crank it up for a run. Music keeps me going!
Wine, popcorn, and a long steam (never together, though)!
New York chic and California casual.
IN MY PAST LIFE:
I was alive and kicking.
