Growing up, Los Angeles native Heather Binns regularly participated in the Girl Scout Olympics, school fitness events, and even won the Presidential Physical Fitness Award while President Reagan was in office. She ran track and cross country in high school and continued running in college, although it wasn’t competitively. After the birth of her daughter and the stress of the corporate world left her yearning for a workout after a long day at the office, Heather began working part-time as a personal trainer. She loved it so much that she eventually quit her full-time job to focus solely on training.

Since then, she’s become one of America’s PremierExperts®, wrote a best-selling book, and has been voted one of the top 5 personal trainers in Los Angeles 2 years in a row! In addition to her many health and fitness certifications, Heather owns Full of Life Fitness in the San Fernando Valley, where she specializes in fat loss, metabolic and interval training, physical imbalance correction, resistance/strength training, functional movement, athletic/sport training, corrective stretching techniques, core/stability training and Self-Myofascial Release. Heather’s coached for Nike, Disney, Active.com, the American Heart Association, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training program. Heather gets true enjoyment and satisfaction when a client tells her that they have achieved a new goal and accomplished something they never thought they could and says it’s the main reason why she does what she does!

To stay fit, Heather enjoys strength training and spends most of her time at the gym preparing for one of her many races. She lives on high-quality minerals, vitamins, and freshwater Salmon Oil to ensure she gets all the nutrients her body needs on a daily basis. In her spare time, Heather enjoys volunteering, hiking, reading, dining, writing, and singing. She also loves spending time with family and friends and putting together stylish workout looks.
