Angela Rubin | USAT Triathlon Coach | Fitness Instructor | Equinox
Angela Rubin was a swimmer in high school, but got serious about fitness when she started attending cycling classes at the gym with a friend. The two eventually signed up for a triathlon and the rest is history! Angela finished second in her age group, and after that, she was hooked! She’s now a certified USAT Triathlon coach and has competed in half and full Ironman races, and multiple marathons and ultra-marathons. Every time Angela gets out of bed in the morning, she lives her passion and embraces every day as part of her journey. She compares life to running and says that it’s a journey with lots of ups and down, but there is beauty in every moment of it.
Angela teaches cycling, running, and main studio classes at Equinox in Los Angeles (her husband manages the gym!), so staying fit is an integral part of her everyday life. She loves getting out on trails near her home and running through nature because it gives her the chance to escape from the day to day grind. When she’s not working out, Angela and her husband are huge Saints fans, and travel to New Orleans a couple times a year for football games, crawfish boils, and Jazzfest! The two also enjoy hanging out with friends and spending time relaxing at the beach.
