Angie Miller  |  Kettlebell Instructor | Indoor Cycling Instructor | Personal Trainer




While teaching and working on her master’s degree in counseling, Angie Miller began instructing group fitness classes in the evenings. There, she found her heart, and decided to make fitness her career. She gained body confidence that transferred into every area of her life, prompting her to build a community that empowered people to discover their potential through movement and exercise. She sought multiple certifications as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor and still works every day to build her skills and expertise. In 2007, Angie began producing home exercise workout videos such as Kettlebell Bootcamp, Core & Strength Fusion, and Crave Results. She also teaches in the Kinesiology Department at Northern Illinois University, educates fitness professionals through conferences and certification workshops, and writes for fitness magazines and online communities. After her mother lost her battle with dementia, Angie was inspired to look at fitness through a different lens. She is currently training to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and her goal is to champion the benefits of exercise for more than just building biceps. While she cares about looking and feeling good, her focus has changed from being able to fit in her skinny jeans to remembering where they are someday. Angie’s passion is helping others; when she can make other people laugh and build their confidence through movement, she believes she’s done her job.

Angie teaches kettle bells, indoor cycling, step aerobics, total body conditioning, and a fusion style of Pilates and yoga in Chicago. Outside of the wellness sphere, she enjoys reading, traveling, and writing. Angie’s also an avid traveler – she’s zip lined through Costa Rica, built a home in Hungary for Habitat for Humanity, and traveled through Europe and the United States.

PRE WORKOUT RITUAL: Coffee, music, and mental gymnastics.

GUILTY PLEASURE: Chocolate! And, maybe some cake.

STYLE SENSIBILITY:At the gym, I dress the part. It’s all about style, comfort, and a little curve appeal. Outside of the gym, I live in heels and jeans.

IN MY PAST LIFE: I was a comedian or a psychic…but, probably both!
